Project S.H.A.R.E.

Never in our wildest dreams can we hope to bring all the Chernobyl  children we would like to invite to the UK  for respite away from a daily drip feed of radiation .
Our links across the country do their best to bring at least one group of children each year .
What about all those not given the opportunity?
What about those who slip through the net because they are too old to be allowed a visa to travel?
What about those who have an absent father and no one signs the parental consent form?
What about all the disabled children confined to their flats and village homes, their disability almost unrecognised, who never get the opportunity to travel or socialise?
What about encouraging young people who have had the benefit of a month in the UK  to volunteer and give something back at the same time helping their own people and encouraging the concept of charity ?
Surely we should also be doing something to help them?
Eighteen months ago we were given the opportunity to be stake holders in an exciting project in Belarus which amounts to the total rebuild of a disused school and its ancillary buildings and hence PROJECT S.H.A.R.E. was born .
Why S.H.A.R.E.?  We wanted to convey the idea of cooperation and alliance and so the name evolved
