April 26th 2011 was not  a day of celebration - however it was an unique opportunity raise

awareness and to remind the world that this is a disaster that will never go away.

We joined together with charities across Europe that supports Chernobyl children; our aim was to

have "25" in candles burning as far as afield as the contamination spread during the initial explosion.

We arranged for groups of supporters to have their photos taken in the formation of 25, as shown. These photos are on our website and werein the local media to raise awareness of the 25th

anniversary and to focus on the candlelit vigil event at the Portsmouth Guildhall Square which wason the 25th April 2011 at 8.00pm.

We asked everyone who donateed to light their candle at 8.00pm on Monday 25th April 2011 to show the world that people do care, or please take part in the candle event on the 25th April which are being held all over Europe.

Thankyou to everyone who supported us.
